Summertime Is Here!!
Summer is finally here! The boys are out of school and enjoying every bit of it. The first school year in Georgia is over. We had some bumps in the road with the new learning system, but our boys did a fantastic job to get through the year, especially coming in the middle of the first semester school year. We are proud of them! Caleb and Micah have graduated and are on their way to middle school. Isaiah is on his way to the seventh grade, and baby Frank is almost one year old. Frank's mom and brother came down for the boy's graduation, and we had a great time. The next day they both went back home and took Isaiah and Micah back to California with them.
The two boys are now with their mother and will be back after the summer. Now it's just Caleb and baby Frank with us at the house. Frank is always working like crazy, and the boys are home with me. These past two weeks have been a little hectic. A week after the boys left, we came down to Los Angeles for a wedding. It was one of the funniest weekends I have had in a long time. We went to the wedding, I was able to go to my women's meeting, we went to his brother's birthday celebration, and we hung out with friends and family. Baby Frank stayed with my dad while I was out, and he did very well. He did very well with a lot of our family and friends this trip. I was happy because he will be with my dad for a week while Frank and I go to Jamaica for a week to relax.
We came back home, and it was a little hectic. We came back to Frank crazy work schedule of working doubles all day. The boys are at home with me all day. I let Frank take the care most of the days because he gets off so late I don't feel like going out to get him. So we have been in the house trying to make the best out of it. Baby Frank has turned the house upside down. He crawls, teething, pulls up and does just about everything he wants. It has been a little crazy since Frank isn't here to help out as much, but I'm making due of things. Caleb has helped me out, but he's a kid himself, and I don't expect him to do much. I haven't had time for anything but eat and take a quick shower. I haven't gotten any work done, and this is the first time I have had to write or get any other job done.
All in all, I wouldn't trade this in for the world. I did, however, go back to working out and I kicked butt I would have to say. The weight loss journey was slow in the beginning, but now it's starting to pick up, and I notice changes in my body. That makes me happy. Frank's double time at work is coming to an end, so I get a little break and help with baby Frank. For all the women that are stay-at-home mother's, I again take my hat off to you. It's not an easy job to do, but you all do the job with a smile and kill it being a mom. You Rock!! Until Next Time!
